This Privacy Policy explains how Unique Union ("Unique Union", "we", "us" or "our") handles information in connection with HARROW (the "Game"), our horror game for Android devices, distributed through Google Play. Unique Union is the developer of the Game and is responsible for the information described in this policy. This policy applies only to the Game.
01 Information we collect
We do not collect any personal data through the Game. Nothing you do in the Game is sent to us or to anyone else.
The Game contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting software, and it does not request permission to use the internet, so it cannot send information from your device.
The Game does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, files or accounts. The camera you use in the Game is part of the story, not your device's camera.
02 Information stored on your device
To work, the Game saves the following in its own storage on your device:
- your settings, such as language, graphics quality, sound volume and controls;
- your progress: your last checkpoint and the chapters you have unlocked.
This information does not leave your device through the Game, and we cannot see it.
03 Information used on your device
While it runs, the Game uses some information from your device. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere:
- technical details, such as your device's memory, processor and graphics chip, to choose suitable graphics settings;
- your device's language, to show the Game in your language the first time you play;
- your device's motion sensor (gyroscope), only if you turn on gyro aiming, to move the view as you tilt your device.
04 Permissions
The Game uses one Android permission: vibration, for haptic feedback. You can turn haptics off in the Game's settings.
05 Device backups
If backup is turned on for your device (for example, backup to your Google Account), Android may include the Game's settings and progress in your device's backup and restore them if you reinstall the Game. These backups are provided by Google, under your account and Google's terms, and we have no access to them.
06 Google Play
The Game is distributed through Google Play. When you download, install or update the Game, Google processes information as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Google may provide us with statistics and crash reports about the Game, such as the number of installs, device models and app errors. These do not identify you personally, and we use them only to fix problems and improve the Game.
07 Information you send us
If you email us, or take part in a test of the Game and send us feedback, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. If you join a test through Google Play, we also hold the email address used to invite you. We use this information only to reply to you, to run the test and to improve the Game. We do not sell it or share it with third parties, and we delete it when we no longer need it for these purposes, or sooner if you ask us to.
08 Children
The Game contains intense horror and is intended for mature audiences. It is not directed to children, and because it collects no personal data, it collects none from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
09 Keeping and deleting information
We hold no information from the Game itself. What the Game stores stays on your device until you delete it, which you can do at any time:
- in your device's settings: Settings › Apps › HARROW › Storage › Clear storage (the names may differ slightly on your device); or
- by uninstalling the Game.
Starting a new game also replaces your last checkpoint. For information you send us, see section 7.
10 Security
The Game sends no information over the internet, so none of it can be intercepted in transit. Messages you send us are kept in our email account, which only our team can access.
11 Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California, you may have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because the Game collects no personal data, we hold none about you from the Game. For information you have sent us, write to us at the address below and we will respond within one month. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
12 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if the Game gains new features. We will publish the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If a change affects how the Game handles your information, we will also say so in the Game's release notes on Google Play.
